Here's how all of us can help.

Dear Friends & Family:
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to save someone’s life? On behalf of Midland Information Resources, I’m pleased to offer you a chance to find out.
Every day, thousands of patients like Janet Glass’s daughter, Ashlyn, are searching for a life-saving donor – someone like you. You can help save a life by being part of the nationwide Be The Match Marrowthon campaign, taking place on June 22. Be The Match, the new name for the National Marrow Donor Program, helps patients with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases in need of a marrow transplant. The Marrowthon aims to add 46,000 new members to the Be The Match Registry. The registration fee will be covered by generous sponsors until this goal is met, so now is the time to join! Join the Be The Match Registry: Though millions have joined the registry, there are still not enough donors to meet the needs of all patients. We need your help! Donors must be between the ages of 18 and 60. Joining the registry is easy – take the first step at BeTheMatch.org/Marrowthon. When asked to provide a “Promo Code”, please enter 032400189. Fund hope for the future: To kick off the campaign, the Jeff Gordon Foundation is generously donating $300,000 to help grow the registry. While the cost of joining the registry is being donated during this Marrowthon, adding a new member to the registry costs approximately $100. For those who are able, a donation of $52 to cover the cost of tissue typing would be appreciated. You may give online at BeTheMatch.org/Marrowthon. Spread the word: Tell your family and friends about the critical need for more donors on the registry and encourage them to join online here in the Midland Lunchroom on Monday, June 22. Computers will be set up to register for the program from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please enter at the main lobby entrance. You can help save a life. Do it because you care. Do it because you can. Thank you. Sincerely, Midland Information Resources 5440 Corporate Park Drive (Near Showcase Cinemas 53 and Border’s Bookstore) Davenport, Iowa 563-359-3696 (Ask for Maggie or Trish)
