Monday~Children's Museum!
Shelby & Daddy building a skyscraper.

Monday~Navy Pier
The Stained Glass Museum.
This looked cool, almost 3D.
Shelby said "Who's that?" Ouch talk about
making you feel old.
Monday~Chicago Trip!
In Navy Pier we went to Crystal Gardens, got our pictures taken with President
Barack Obama.

Hotel
At the hotel when we were checking in, some man said to Daren,
"Is this your family, Daren said yes it is." The man said "Wow
your a lucky man." Daren said "Yes I am." Sweet huh?
Sunday~Hotel
When we came into the motel, Shelby got
all excited. She said "Mama it's just like
Suite Life of Zach & Cody" So she had to climb
on & ride like they do in the show. Then she
said "Mama it's real gold" She was very excited.

Shelby wanted hers taken too, so Daddy had
to lift her up.

We ate leftovers from lunch (we had so many)
I gave Shelby a wine glass for her water, she
thought she was something else. Our hotel
room had a kitchen, stove, dishwasher,
microwave it was great. I got to have my daily
popcorn.Sunday~American Girl Place
Shelby buying Ruthie (Kit's best friend)
Shelby saved all her money for over a year,
she had $176.00 total. She even came home
with money. We were so proud of her. She also
thought really hard about what she bought, it
hurt her to spend her money, it was a great
lesson.
Shelby, Kit, & Ruthie. Now the best friends
are reunited.
