Workin for the Weekend!

Saturday Shelby came to work with me. She watched movies while I got some work done.

Saturday Tradition

Shelby & I have breakfast in bed on Saturday mornings (my momma's thinking what!!!!) Daddy's @ work on Saturdays most of the time. So Daddy had a bagel, egg & ham bagel w/pineapple on the side. Shelby had blueberry pancakes w/pineapple on the side. I gave Daren milk & orange juice, anyone know where this is going? I was helping Shelby with her pillows, she jumped up, & milk & juice spilled all over the bed...ugh. So I hadn't planned on washing sheets & comforter, oh well! So I guess next time Daddy gets a cup with a lid & straw like Shelby. Daren said can you make pictures smaller, I don't have a shirt on. I said "you knew I was taking pictures, I'm a blogger deal with it." Have a great Saturday everyone!

Bedtime!!!!!!!!!!

I've been working alot of hours this week. Daddy picked up Shelby yesterday from school. Then I had dance. Then he took her to school this morning. I'm not used to being away from her so much. I was soooo missing her today. She called me before school & said "Mama I miss you so much, Daddy doesn't snuggle like you do" She always tell me Daddy's hard, Mama your nice soft & squishy (thanks I think.)

Ashlyn bowling on the wii. Our 14 1/2 year old dog Cosmo. On Thursday nights Daren bowls & I go to dance class with my friend Janet that I work with. "Miss Janet's" daughter Ashlyn "big girl" sits with Shelby. Shelby looks forward to it all week. Ashlyn is such a sweet girl too, she dances @ dance works where Shelby & I take dance. Shelby really looks up to her. Tonight they were wii ing, Ashlyn & Shelby both got wii's for Christmas.

Tuesday, School, work. Shelby & I had to go see the chiro (Aunt Leisha, Dr. Huntley) we both had wii ittis. Then back to tumbling & dance. I guess the holidays are really over, no more lounging.

With gift cards we were able to buy a wii. Yeah!!!! Thanks for the help Gramma Sharon, Nana Sue, & Grandpa Bubby.Wii oops I mean WE play it everyday. It gets Big Daddy off the couch every night to play tennis, he works up a sweat. Today Shelby's friend Madi from school came over & played the wii. They had a great time working off the after school hyperness. Madi's mom Brenda & I went to high school together, & now our daughters are friends too! Brenda's been a blessing for me if I need to work late or am just plan running late, thanks Bren!

It's been very relaxing mini vacation for Shelby & I. I said Shelby do you know what tomorrow is? She said ummmm :( back to school. It's going to be hard to get going in the morning, were used to hanging out in our jammies. Back to the real world, work & school. Hope everyone's holidays have been fabulous, take care god bless.

Jammie Girls

I got footie jammies for Christmas from my Mom & Dad. Shelby & I love to lounge in our pj's.

Today was family fun day. My niece Lexi Loo Hoo spent the night last night. Daren got off work early, we took the girls to Burger King for lunch (chicken nuggets shaped like crowns & Princess crowns..could it get any better I ask you?) Then we went to Bettendorf Family Museum. The girls had been there before but it was a first for Daren & I. It's very interactive & I believe fun was had by all. The only small hiccup was some kid pulled the fire alarm, we thought we were going to have to leave but false alarm all was well. All in all a good day! I've got it under control! Crazy woman driver!!!!!! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Wait it's over, moving on! YEEHAW Daren & Shelby in a simulator combine Climbing a rock wall Play it sister 2 Happy princesses, who got it their way!

So it's a new year again, my they go fast (especially when you get older!)

Shelby made it until midnight for the first time ever, she was so excited &\ then deflated the next second. She said that's it huh Mom? Then she said let's make our "New Year Reservations" :)

So here are our New Year's Resolutions:

Daren: To get healthy & lose some weight....so everyone keep him accountable please!

Shelby: To have a Happy New Year!

Trish: To start & keep up with a blog (yikes...keep me accountable too!)
