Henry got to open one of his presents from Aunt Lynn, Uncle John & Gramma Sharon....his little red wagon. He LOVES it!!! It's the first thing he goes for in the morning & the first thing when he gets home from the sitter! Were going to visit Grandparents & The Coopers to celebrate "our" Christmas after Christmas so this wouldn't fit in the rental so he got to get it early, & it was a success!

We went scrapbooking for MDA last Saturday. It was nice to hang out with my buddies (without children) Thanks Gramma SuAnn/Nana Sue/Big Daddy for watching the kids, I really appreciate it! I went to a scrapbooking crop yesterday with my girlfriends. In my goody bag was starburst (which I use to be addicted to) So I open them up & say to Henry " I haven't had one of these since before I was pregnant with you, I went cold turkey." We moved the climber with slide in the house for monkey to climb on (he climbs on everything anyway) he'll have all winter to climb) Just another thing to remind us that Henry and Shelby are total opposites, Shelby wouldn't have climbed on this until 3 or 4 (she would've been too scared) Henry is 14mth today & climbs all over the climber & up the slide. Sitting at her desk. She has now been in school for a week & loves her teacher! I said really I'm happy but why do you think you like her so much? She said because she doesn't yell. Shelby has never responded to yelling so glad to see she doesn't have a yeller. After the first week she says "Mom school is dumb, it's too easy." I say "I know sweetie, the teacher makes it easy so she can tell where everyones level is." Patience my lovely daughter, which is so hard to say when I have none (or very little) myself.

So when I was 17, 18, 19 ok until now I have loved Poison. I was scared to go se them because I was afraid I would be disappointed, but I was worried for nothing. They were GREAT...just like I remembered, I still love them. This picture is of C.C. Deville

This is my friend Laura & I at the concert....she's 24 she took her old friend to the concert!!! I took an hour nap before the concert, I danced, sang, yelled, clapped acted as if I was 18 again. But.......when I woke up the next day ugh, my throat hurt from singing & yelling & my body was sore, wow reality check your not 18 anymore!!!

The headliner band was Motley Crue. I liked them when I was young but not loved them, what I learned is I've gotten too old for Motley Crue! They haven't changed a bit, I guess I have. They had half naked girls on poles, girls kissing each other, every other word was the f bomb & Vince Neil (pictured above) sounded like Mickey Mouse. So we stayed for about 5 songs then left.

(Shelby girl is at camp all this week, get to pick her up today yippee, can't wait to see her)

This is Leah-age 3 1/2 (my niece) (Wow the dress & wig have seen better days) She came to play at my house the other day. It was alot of fun to have a little girl around again, but I had forgotten how much they like to be entertained. Leah, Henry, & I all took a nap we were exhausted, playing & reading books are hard work :)

Last Saturday was my company picnic at Veteran's Memorial Park in Bettendorf! We had a good time until Shelby got a headache & then it rained, oh well mayube next year!!
